Manama: In line with the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Jaffari Endowments has completed the renovation of two mosques in Bahrain. The renovation projects were carried out at Al-Taranjah Mosque in Jidhafs and Shaikh Mohammed Mosque in Malkiya. This initiative is part of a broader plan to open, restore, and develop 40 mosques affiliated with both the Sunni and Jaffari Endowments Directorates across the Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Yusuf Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council, praised the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and noted the ongoing follow-up by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in the development, maintenance, and restoration of places of worship.
Al Saleh emphasized that these projects align with the aspirations of local communities to enhance places of worship. He also noted that further renovation and development work on Jaafari mosques is in progress according to the approved schedule.
