Jaafari Endowments Council Chairman Commends Leadership’s Support for Mosque Development

Manama: Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council, emphasised the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for all places of worship in Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh commended the directive of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to inaugurate, renovate, and restore 40 mosques affiliated with both the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates across Bahrain's governorates as part of the mosque development plan.

Al Saleh commended the role of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments in coordinating with the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates and relevant authorities to facilitate construction, renovation, and restoration within the designated timeframe.

He described the directive as a valued initiative that has become a distinguished Ramadhan tradition, reflecting the leadership's commitment to supporting places of worship.
