Manama: Abduljalil Ali Ahmed Al Hayki, Director General of the General Directorate of Jaafari Affairs, emphasized that the successful observance of Ashoora this year is a testament to Bahrain's enduring commitment to promoting values of tolerance, coexistence, and safeguarding religious freedoms. This commitment is championed under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Al Hayki noted that these efforts have created a conducive environment for the seamless and organized observance of religious rituals.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Hayki expressed his gratitude towards the efforts of various participating government entities and civil society organizations. He particularly acknowledged the contributions of the Ministry of Interior, the Islamic Endowments Affairs Council, and the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, along with other ministries and security and service authorities. Their cooperation, coordination, and integration in executing organizational and service plans were pivotal in the occasion's success.
Al Hayki also praised the contributions of religious scholars, Maatam leaders, and supervisory committees, recognizing their dedication to ensuring that religious rituals were observed in an orderly and organized manner. Their commitment played a crucial role in the success of the occasion.
