Iraq’s oil exports to America increased within a week


Baghdad: The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq’s oil exports to America rose during the past week.

The EIA said in a table, ‘The average US imports of crude oil during the past week from 9 major countries amounted to 5,396 million barrels per day, a decrease of 632 thousand barrels per day compared to the previous week, which amounted to 6,028 million barrels per day.’

It added, “Iraq’s oil exports to America amounted to 195,000 barrels per day last week, an increase of 31,000 barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 164,000 barrels per day.”

The EIA also indicated that “most of America’s oil exports during the past week came from Canada, followed by Mexico, Brazil, and then Ecuador.”

According to the table, ‘the amount of American imports of crude oil continued from Saudi Arabia, Libya, Colombia, and Nigeria.
