Iraqi PM, Estonian DM discuss war on terrorism within int’l coalition

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Al-Sudani discussed with Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur, Wednesday the war on terrorism within the framework of the international counter-terrism coalition in Iraq.

The meeting also talked relations between Iraq and Estonia and reviewed Tallinn’s participation in the international coalition to combat terrorism and the importance of developing bilateral economic partnership and enhancing cooperation in the fields of cybersecurity and electronic governance, the Iraqi Prime Minister’s media office said in a statement.

Al-Sudani said that his government is seeking to arrange relations with the international coalition within the framework of combating “terrorism” and in line with the post-war phase against the so-called Islamic State (IS) and the need to confront the discourse that promotes violence, terrorism and hatred among peoples.
