Baghdad: Iraq's Parliament voted to elect Nizar Mohammed Saeed Amidi as President of the Republic of Iraq.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Saeed Amidi secured 227 votes, while the second candidate, MP Muthanna Amin Nader, received 15 votes, and seven ballots were declared invalid.
