IPA’s Equal Opportunities Committee Convenes Third Meeting

Manama:The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) conducted its third regular meeting, chaired by Eman Haider Ali, Director of Consultancy and Research at the IPA.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Eman Haider Ali emphasized the Institute's dedication to advancing efforts and initiatives that promote equal opportunities. She highlighted the importance of cultivating an institutional environment that harnesses national talent and bolsters the participation and empowerment of Bahraini women, aligning with national objectives under the comprehensive development process guided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

In recognition of the Silver Jubilee of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), the Director praised the progress achieved over the past 25 years in empowering Bahraini women and their active contribution to various developmental sectors. She underscored the vision and ongoing support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the SCW.

The Committee's agenda included updates on the execution of its annual plan, the progress of sanctioned programmes and initiatives, and notable accomplishments in fostering equal opportunities.
