Manama: The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (IPA) convened for its second regular meeting of 2026, under the leadership of Iman Haider Ali, Director of Consulting and Research at the institute. The meeting was attended by committee members.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ali reiterated the IPA's dedication to advancing equal opportunities and gender balance through various initiatives and policies. These efforts are aligned with national priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on enhancing women's participation and empowerment in the workplace.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed the latest progress in executing its operational plan for the current year. Discussions also centered around a variety of initiatives and programs designed to foster an institutional environment that upholds gender balance. The meeting further explored strategies to enhance institutional performance and boost participation in training and development programs.
