Manama: The Ministry of Interior Show Jumping Team achieved top rankings during its participation in the 'Harthill Bolesworth GBR International Show Jumping Championship' (CSI1 and CSI4), held in the United Kingdom from July 2 to 6. The team delivered a professional performance and demonstrated strong competitiveness throughout the championship, securing the top four positions among 493 male and female riders representing 18 countries. This accomplishment was attributed to a comprehensive training programme and a high level of physical and technical preparation aimed at enhancing performance and ensuring readiness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier Abdulaziz Mayouf Al Rumaihi, Director General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science and team supervisor, extended his congratulations to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, saying that the achievement reflects the Minister's continuous support, which served as a key driver behind the team's distinguished results.
Brigadier Al Rumaihi also lauded the continued support of Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, and his commitment to supporting the Ministry's sports teams, contributing to the Ministry's effective presence in regional and international sporting events.
He also commended the riders for their discipline and team spirit throughout the competition, noting that the achievement reflects their commitment to excellence and their determination to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain with distinction in international sporting events.
