Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, met with the staff of the Public Security Officers Club responsible for organizing the summer programme activities, which involved 1,207 children aged between 5 and 14. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah emphasized the significant social, educational, and sporting contributions of the Club in meeting the aspirations of its members, developing children's abilities, and preparing a conscious generation capable of facing future challenges.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Interior Minister expressed appreciation to the club management and the cooperating entities for their continuous efforts in fulfilling this social role. He commended their dedication and wished them continued success in serving the nation.
The Public Security Officers Club organized the summer programme for members' children from the beginning of June until the end of August 2025. It featured a variety of sports, cultural, and recreational activities, alongside specialized programmes aimed at making constructive use of participants' free time, enhancing their physical, intellectual, and social abilities, as well as promoting authentic national values. It also provided a safe and healthy environment that combined learning with entertainment.
The summer programme for members' children achieved clear success in realizing its objectives by providing an integrated educational and recreational environment, making effective use of children's time, while enhancing national values and reinforcing national belonging.
