Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, held a telephone call with Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control of Pakistan. The Interior Minister conveyed his sincere condolences and sympathy over the victims of the recent floods, landslides, and the rescue helicopter crash, which claimed the lives of several people, including members of the rescue teams.
According to Bahrain News Agency, General Shaikh Rashid affirmed the deep-rooted and historic ties between Bahrain and Pakistan. He reiterated Bahrain's keenness to enhance security cooperation and coordination to address security challenges and rapid developments. Emphasizing the importance of strengthening the work of the Joint Security Committee, he underscored the need for continued collaboration between the two nations in overcoming shared security concerns.
