Interior Minister Engages with Muharraq Governorate Residents to Promote Community Partnership.

Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, met with residents of the Muharraq Governorate, joined by Salman Bin Hindi Al Mannai, the Governor of Muharraq. The meeting forms part of the minister's initiative to visit various governorates to foster the community partnership strategy and engage with all societal segments. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister welcomed the attendees and emphasized that the meeting was intended to enhance community partnership. He noted that his visits to the governorates occur in response to the current regional situation, highlighting the necessity of communicating with the community to raise security awareness, bolster social roles, and maintain security. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah commended the residents of Muharraq Governorate for their dedication to upholding public order, national commitments, and their loyalty to the nation. He also expressed gratitude to the Muharraq Governor for his commitment to the governorate's affa irs. He acknowledged the national dedication of residents across all governorates, recognizing their responsible contributions to education, sports, and youth initiatives. The collective response and cooperation exhibited by the community were described as commendable. He reflected on recent experiences, noting that these situations have offered valuable lessons. The Interior Minister also highlighted a conference on national identity, scheduled for the first quarter of next year, following royal directives. He praised the government's support, led by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for Bahraini identity programs and initiatives. He emphasized that reinforcing identity is a national priority and a responsibility for every citizen. The minister concluded by stressing the importance of ongoing communication with civic societies and the reinforcement of community partnership, which includes a commitment to essential public safety requirements. He highlighted the role of the National C ivil Protection Platform in educating citizens on safety and protection measures at home against emergencies.
