Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, attended the Commemoration Day ceremony held at the Special Security Force headquarters. The event marked a solemn occasion to honor the sacrifices of fallen servicemen.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ceremony commenced with the arrival of the Interior Minister, who was accompanied by Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security. The proceedings began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the Minister and senior officers performing the Fallen Servicemen’s Salute.
After the prayer for the fallen servicemen, the Minister proceeded to the memorial, where he recited Al-Fatiha. On this occasion, the Interior Minister paid tribute to the fallen servicemen for their sacrifices and devotion. He also expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for designating December 17 as Commemoration Day, coinciding with “Accession Day.”
