Manama: The Ministry of Information has unveiled a national initiative aimed at collecting, documenting, and preserving documents of loyalty and support issued by various institutions, organizations, entities, and community groups across the Kingdom of Bahrain. These documents are significant as they reflect the expressions of loyalty and support to the Kingdom and its leadership, including backing for the efforts of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative is designed to safeguard this national heritage as an integral part of Bahrain's national memory. It seeks to emphasize the values of loyalty, belonging, and national unity as reflected in these documents, while also highlighting the deep-rooted relationship between the leadership and the people throughout the Kingdom's history.
The Ministry affirmed that this initiative is part of its broader efforts to preserve historical records of national and symbolic significance. It aims to document the national positions demonstrated by the Kingdom during challenging times, such as the Iranian aggression, ensuring these are available to future generations as part of Bahrain's national archive.
Documents will be accepted at the main gate of the Ministry's headquarters from June 1 to 10, with submissions open daily from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Ministry emphasized that all submitted materials will undergo rigorous documentation and preservation procedures in line with approved professional standards.
Furthermore, the Ministry expressed its gratitude to all entities and individuals contributing to the initiative's success. Their support is crucial in preserving the national memory and documenting significant chapters in the Kingdom's history and its comprehensive development journey under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
