Information Ministry Concludes AI Media Training for Interior Ministry Staff

Manama: The Ministry of Information recently concluded the third edition of the "Media Content Creation through Artificial Intelligence Applications" training programme for personnel from the Ministry of Interior. Yousif Mohammed Al Binkhalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, attended the programme's closing ceremony.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the training was organised by the Ministry of Information's Innovators Lab in collaboration with the Police Media Centre at the Ministry of Interior. The programme was delivered by Mohannad Al Noaimi, Head of the AI Team at the Ministry of Information. Al Binkhalil praised the programme's outcome, noting its role in advancing professional security media through modern technologies.

Al Binkhalil highlighted that the programme's implementation reflects the Ministry's commitment to providing specialised training in advanced technologies. He noted that integrating modern applications enhances the quality of government services. He further stated that AI applications have become essential in institutional operations, fostering creativity and innovation to improve performance and service quality.

Emphasising the strategic importance of training and investing in human capital across government institutions, Al Binkhalil underscored the value of such initiatives. The programme also marked the launch of Sahm, the first AI-powered virtual security news editor. Developed by participants, Sahm is aimed at producing accurate, comprehensive, and impactful security media content, supporting efforts to bolster media and security capabilities.
