Manama: The Information Ministry's Equal Opportunities Committee conducted its regular meeting, led by Abdulrahman Khalid Al Midfaa, Assistant Undersecretary for News and Regulatory Affairs, and attended by committee members. The meeting focused on several key topics, including participation in the Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for Productive Families and preparations for Bahraini Women's Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee also reviewed its previous work and decisions, coordinating with relevant authorities on various activities to promote equal opportunities and support women's advancement within the ministry. The meeting underscored the role of Bahraini women in the media sector during the Iranian aggression against Bahrain, highlighting their professionalism and national responsibility.
The committee emphasized the need for continued efforts to promote gender balance and support the empowerment of Bahraini women in the national media. Appreciation was extended to Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, for his ongoing support and involvement in the committee's initiatives.
