Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi hailed the farsighted vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in leading Team Bahrain to overcome the fallout of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and support Bahrain’s standing as a pioneering model in protecting public health and promoting development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He commended HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s keynote speech which chartered a roadmap for the international community to benefit for Bahrain’s approach of turning challenges into opportunities and operating the crisis-management successfully.
Al Romaihi reiterated the commitment of the national media to assume its mission aimed to enhance citizens and residents’ awareness against rumors and fake news.
He underline the role of the national media in producing televised lessons, fostering the spirit of community responsibility and solidarity in support of national efforts to combat the pandemic and highlight Bahrain’s success in attaining a vaccination rate of 93%.
He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by HM the King with the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime, is resolved to continuing the march of sustainable development as part of the wide-ranging recovery plan, lining up an ambitious $30 billion strategy aimed to bolster economic and social stability and achieve fiscal balance by 2024.
