Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, the Minister of Information, attended the opening of the fifth edition of the Bahrain Film Festival, which is set to run from October 30 to November 4. The festival, organized by the Bahrain Cinema Club, is themed ‘Short Films, Great Stories’.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the festival features participation from filmmakers, actors, and cinema professionals both from Bahrain and internationally, alongside cultural and media figures. Dr. Al Noaimi emphasized that the festival remains a vital platform for showcasing creative works and supporting Bahraini film talent. It aims to foster regional and international partnerships that contribute to the film industry’s growth and ensure its alignment with global standards.
The festival’s programme includes screenings of short films and specialized workshops that focus on film production, creativity, and innovation in cinema.
