According to Bahrain News Agency, the Minister noted that the royal order, coinciding with His Majesty's ratification of the Press and Electronic Media Law and the Bahrain Journalists Association's silver jubilee, marks a significant milestone in the national journalistic journey. It demonstrates His Majesty's commitment to strengthening the position of Bahraini journalism, enabling it to fulfill its mission efficiently within a progressive legal framework that meets contemporary requirements while preserving societal values, he added.
Dr. Al Noaimi emphasised that His Majesty the King's reception of the Bahrain Journalists Association demonstrates a commitment to direct engagement with the media community, attentively hearing their aspirations, and strengthening their role in shaping the future of Bahrain's media landscape.
The Minister emphasised that His Majesty's recognition of Bahraini journalism is a badge of honour for the Kingdom's media professionals, reflecting royal confidence in their expertise, inspiring continued dedication, and reinforcing commitment to the profession's highest standards and ethics.
Dr. Al Noaimi underscored that, under the directives and support of the Government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Ministry of Information will continue to advance Bahrain's national media ecosystem, highlighting the Kingdom's achievements and enhancing its distinguished regional and international standing.
