Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, the Minister of Information, recently attended a significant ceremony dedicated to honouring the staff of Bahrain Sports Channel programmes and the football analysis studio team. The event, aimed at recognizing their contributions to Bahraini football competitions broadcasted during the last season, also acknowledged the efforts of sponsors, partners, and supporters who played a pivotal role in its success.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ceremony saw the presence of prominent figures, including His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Vice President of the Bahrain Football Association (BFA). Dr. Al Noaimi highlighted that the achievements within Bahraini sports media are indicative of the broader progress in the nation's sports sector. He emphasized the continued success and representation of Bahraini sport at various levels, attributing this to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Al Noaimi also praised the ongoing support from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which has contributed to vibrant sporting activities and enriched sports media content. This backing has further bolstered the presence of sports media across platforms, reflecting the development of sports media in Bahrain.
The Information Minister acknowledged the skill and dedication of the analysis studio and sports programme staff, commending their professionalism in delivering quality sports content. He stressed the role of Bahrain Sports Channel in covering local events and national achievements, thus enhancing audience engagement through its digital platforms.
Dr. Al Noaimi noted the success of the football analysis studio, which produced 40 programmes covering major local tournaments. This success was achieved through the involvement of Bahraini sports analysts, generating significant audience interaction. He also lauded the collaboration with the BFA, under the leadership of Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and expressed gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali for his presence at the ceremony, symbolizing the partnership between the entities.
