Manama: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, received Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Hazzaa, Director General of the Gulf Radio and Television Organisation of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Dr. Al Noaimi extended his congratulations to Dr. Al Hazzaa on his recent appointment and expressed his best wishes for success in enhancing joint GCC media cooperation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized Bahrain's commitment to supporting media initiatives that reinforce joint GCC efforts and promote the cultural identity shared by GCC countries. He praised the organisation's pivotal role in fostering cooperation and coordination among media institutions within the GCC.
Dr. Al Hazzaa acknowledged the advancements in Bahrain's media sector and lauded the Ministry of Information's efforts in facilitating media communication and collaboration among GCC nations. The meeting focused on exploring strategies to strengthen joint GCC media cooperation and enhance coordination to enrich Gulf media content and its presence both regionally and internationally.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Hazzaa presented Dr. Al Noaimi with a copy of his book, which reflects on his 41-year career in the media industry.
