Industry Minister Highlights Bahraini Women’s Contributions

Manama: Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, said that Bahraini Women's Day is a recognition of the efforts of Bahraini women and an opportunity to highlight their contributions to the Kingdom's comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Fakhro underscored the ongoing efforts and initiatives of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King, which have significantly advanced the role of Bahraini women and supported them across various domains. He underlined the ministry's commitment to continuing to expand opportunities for women and support their progress in line with Bahrain's strategic vision.

He added that Bahraini women have proven over the years to be essential across all sectors, particularly in industry and commerce, contributing through their expertise and initiatives to supporting the national economy and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. He noted that the ministry seeks to support all initiatives that help advance women's progress.
