Industry Minister Celebrates New Batch of Consumer Protection Ambassadors

Manama: Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, honoured the second batch of Consumer Protection Ambassadors. The minister expressed pride in the active participation of Bahraini youth in this national initiative and noted that their efforts reflect responsibility, awareness, and a strong sense of belonging.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Consumer Protection Ambassadors programme, launched by the Consumer Protection Directorate in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, aims to raise consumer awareness and empower youth to play a key role in protecting consumer rights through training, field visits, and innovative outreach activities.

Minister Fakhro also commended community partners, including Y.K. Almoayyed and Sons for offering training and employment opportunities, and Jahez International for providing financial support to participants. He emphasised that youth involvement in the initiative fosters a generation aware of consumer rights and equipped to make informed, responsible decisions that benefit society.
