Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, received Jassim Al Mosawi, Head of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)’s Transport and Logistics Services Committee.
The meeting discussed topics of common interest related to the development of the transport and logistics sector in Bahrain.
The minister praised the chamber’s role as a key partner in enhancing Bahrain’s economy and increasing the private sector’s contribution to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Fakhro highlighted the efforts of the committee, in cooperation with the chamber and concerned authorities in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, to further develop logistical services in line with the latest modern means of shipping and transportation, to facilitate the process of exporting and importing goods in Bahrain.
Al Mosawi expressed his appreciation to the minister for his continuous support and follow-up to all developments affecting the commerce sector.
