Independent MP, Hadi Al-Salami affirmed that the draft general budget of the state before the amendments represents a clear bias towards the Kurdistan Region.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: The special amendments to the budget, which took place during the last days in the Finance Committee, were necessary to achieve fairness for all.
Al-Salami added: The budget, before the amendments, was unfair to the central and southern governorates.
