iGA Welcomes Omani Delegation to Discuss Digital Government Services

Manama: Ali Abdulaziz Janahi, Deputy Chief Executive of Electronic Transformation at the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), welcomed a delegation from the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Khalid Al Zadjali, the Head of the Digital Transformation Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oman.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit aimed to exchange expertise and learn from Bahrain's advancements in digital government services. The Omani delegation received a comprehensive briefing on Bahrain's national digital transformation strategy, the enhanced government portal (bahrain.bh), and a variety of integrated digital services and mobile applications designed to simplify procedures and enhance user experience.

Janahi highlighted the significance of regional collaboration in driving digital innovation. He acknowledged Oman's continuous efforts in adopting modern technologies and improving public services.

Additionally, the visit aligns with Bahrain's 2024 Digital Twinning Initiative, which encourages international collaboration by sharing best practices in digital transformation across borders.
