Manama: The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) announced that the evaluation of submissions for the 13th edition of the eGovernment Excellence Award 2025 has been completed. This year's awards evaluated digital projects from the public and private sectors, as well as individual entries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the evaluation was conducted by a committee comprised of local and international experts in ICT and digital transformation. The committee adhered to the highest standards of excellence. The evaluation jury was chaired by Alexander Felsenberg, an international digital expert and Board Member of the UN SDG World Summit Award (WSA), alongside Abdulla Habib, a digital systems development expert from the private sector, who served as Vice Chairman.
The committee also included Dr. Esra Ahmed Wali, representing the academic sector with expertise in information technology and innovation; Najwa Abdul Rahim, an expert in ICT strategy; Daneh Al Rayes, a smart cities expert from civil society institutions; Dr. Aisha Bushager, knowledgeable in e-learning and cybersecurity from the financial sector; Dr. Mohammed Baqer, from the academic sector specializing in information technology and engineering; Samya Hussain, a specialist in corporate communication and social responsibility; Esam Hadi, a leader in digital transformation; and Ali Beshara, an expert in cybersecurity from the information security sector.
The date for the winners' ceremony of the 13th eGovernment Excellence Award will be announced soon.
