iGA and Royal Academy of Police Collaborate for AI GameDay 2025

Manama: The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Police, is organizing the AI GameDay for Information Technology for students from public and private universities in the Kingdom. The event, supported by stc Bahrain and held in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 20 November.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the competition will provide students with an opportunity to enhance their skills through the use of AI tools and solutions. They will develop their creative thinking and problem-solving abilities as they navigate through the challenge, contributing to building a capable national talent pool ready to participate in Bahrain's digital transformation and technological growth.

The Royal Academy of Police stated that the event will offer students practical, hands-on experience in applying AI technologies through challenges that mirror real-world scenarios. Participants will also be introduced to the basics of cloud computing using AWS technologies, gaining the opportunity to enhance their technical capabilities. The competition encourages teamwork and collaboration as students work together to design and deliver integrated solutions, while honing their data analysis and decision-making abilities.

Supported by stc Bahrain, the top three teams will be awarded at the end of the competition in recognition of their performance. Preparatory sessions will be held virtually for accepted participants from 18th to 19th November ahead of the competition kickoff.
