Riffa: The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, held a meeting today with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper II, the Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), at Riffa Palace. HRH the Deputy King highlighted the enduring and progressive relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States, emphasizing the strong cooperative and bilateral ties that are bolstered by agreements such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Deputy King reiterated the significance of enhancing joint cooperation and coordination, particularly in military and defense sectors. He acknowledged the vital role the United States and its allies play in reinforcing regional and global security, stability, and development.
The meeting also encompassed discussions on the latest regional and international developments, with both leaders addressing issues of mutual interest. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, was also in attendance.
