HRH The Deputy King Highlights BDF’s Progress and Readiness

Manama: The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by several high-ranking officials, including HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Defence Affairs, and Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness praised the ongoing progress and combat readiness of the BDF, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. He acknowledged the efforts of BDF personnel in fulfilling their national duties and emphasized the importance of continuous training to maintain high levels of readiness and preparedness.

His Royal Highness also recognized the loyalty and sacrifice of the BDF, highlighting their significant role in achieving national objectives and supporting the Kingdom's development goals. During his visit, HRH Prince Salman was briefed on the strategic plans, programmes, and projects being implemented to enhance the BDF's combat readiness.

Expressing gratitude towards HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, HRH the Deputy King acknowledged his contribution to advancing the BDF's development. Furthermore, he reiterated the importance of the BDF's role, alongside its allies, in ensuring security and stability.
