His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, today received a telephone call from the US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd J. Austin III.
During the telephone call, the US Secretary of Defense extended his heartfelt condolences to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to His Royal Highness for the fallen servicemen of the Bahrain Defense Force who were honourably and loyally performing their national duties in Operation Restoring Hope, as part of the Arab Coalition Forces led by the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stationed at the southern border of Saudi Arabia.
Austin III further wished the injured a speedy recovery.
HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister and Lloyd Austin III further reviewed the Bahrain-US strategic partnership, and the importance of further strengthening relations to achieve joint aspirations.
