HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Meets Outgoing IISS Executive Chairman

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Sir John Chipman, the outgoing Executive Chairman of The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), at Gudaibiya Palace, marking the end of Chipman's tenure.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration between the Kingdom of Bahrain and prominent international research institutions, such as the IISS. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister praised Sir John Chipman for his efforts in strengthening the partnership, particularly through the organization of the Manama Dialogue, the Middle East's key security summit.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad acknowledged the Manama Dialogue's status as a prominent international forum, attracting participation from global decision-makers and security experts. He expressed his best wishes for Sir John Chipman's future endeavors.

Sir Chipman, in return, thanked His Royal Highness for his steadfast support and dedication to enhancing cooperation between Bahrain and the IISS. He extended his best wishes for the Kingdom's continued growth and success.

The meeting was also attended by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court.
