Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (42) of 2025 concerning the appointment of a new Director at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities. The edict follows a proposal by the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Article I of the edict states that Shaikh Ebrahim bin Humood bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa will assume the role of Director of the Antiquities Directorate within the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
The implementation of the edict is outlined in Article II, which mandates the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities to enforce its provisions. The edict is effective immediately from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
