This decision pertains to the restructuring of the Supreme Committee for the Care of Persons with Disabilities, following a proposal by the Minister of Social Development and subsequent approval from the Cabinet.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the amendment involves a significant change in terminology. The term "National Committee for the Care of Persons of Determination" will replace "Supreme Committee for the Care of Persons with Disabilities" throughout the title and Article I of Edict (43) of 2025. This change is part of broader efforts to update and enhance the framework governing disability care.
The edict mandates that all ministers, each within their respective capacities, are responsible for implementing the changes. It also specifies that the edict will take effect immediately upon issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
