HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Issues Edict (4) of 2025 Appointing New Directors at the Ministry of Information

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (4) of 2025, which outlines the appointment of new directors at the Ministry of Information. The edict was based on a proposal by the Minister of Information.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Article (I) of the edict states that Qais Hassan Aldossari, the Director of the Television Directorate at the Ministry of Information, will be retired upon his request. Article (II) details the appointment of Abdulrahman Khamis Ali Al Rumaihi as the Director of the Creativity and Electronic Media Directorate, succeeding Maryam Isa Bukamal.

Article (III) of the edict appoints Bader Mohammed Hassan Abdullah as the new Director of the Radio Directorate, replacing Younis Salman Hassan. Article (IV) specifies additional appointments, including Abdulrahman Khamis Abdulrahman Al Zayani as Director of the Television Directorate, Ali Abdulhussain Jawad Radhi as Director of the Sports Media Directorate, and Sarah Mohammed Saeed Mahdi as Director of the Strategic Planning and Projects Directorate.

The provisions of this edict, as mandated by Article (V), will be implemented by the Minister of Information. The edict takes immediate effect from the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
