Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued a circular regarding the upcoming Labour Day. The announcement outlines the schedule for government offices and public institutions during the holiday.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the circular specifies that ministries and public institutions will be closed on Friday, 1 May 2026, in observance of Labour Day. Since the official holiday coincides with a Friday, the day off will be compensated on Sunday, 3 May 2026. This adjustment ensures that employees benefit from the holiday despite its occurrence on a weekend day.
