His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighted the depth of the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which build on the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
His Royal Highness commended the announcement made by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, during the sixth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), on the Public Investment Fund’s establishment of five regional companies aimed at investing in a number of regional countries, including Bahrain.
The PIF will invest in several strategic sectors, including infrastructure, real estate development, mining, health care, financial services, food and agriculture, manufacturing, communications and technology, and other vital sectors.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that the announcement is a reflection of the efforts made by the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, highlighting Bahrain’s business-friendly economy that attracts strategic opportunities and investments.
In this regard, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to furthering its infrastructure development in line with current and future development needs.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended his gratitude to HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman and welcomed this initiative, which will support the two Kingdoms’ joint development goals.
His Royal Highness noted that Saudi Arabia has always led innovative initiatives to benefit the region and its citizens, highlighting the instrumental role it plays in promoting global economic stability, and in safeguarding regional and international security and stability.
His Royal Highness further congratulated HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the success of the sixth edition of the FII, emphasising that Saudi Arabia has become a global hub for the creation and success of important initiatives.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad concluded by wishing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continued progress and development.
