His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today sent a cable of congratulations to the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on the UAE’s presidency of the UN Security Council for the month of March.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that the UAE’s presidency of the UN Security Council would contribute to bolstering the Council’s role in strengthening global security and stability, as well as supporting international development and cooperation.
His Royal Highness commended the UAE’s global standing, confidence in its policy and effective diplomacy, wishing the country and its people further development, progress and prosperity.
