HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Arrives in Egypt for Museum Inauguration

Cairo: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt. His visit is to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, representing His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

According to Bahrain News Agency, upon arrival, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was received by HE Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports of Egypt, along with several senior officials. The visit underscores the close ties between Bahrain and Egypt, highlighting cultural cooperation and mutual interests.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was accompanied by a delegation including HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; HE Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi, Minister of Information; HE Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt; HE Brigadier Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Escort Officer to HRH the Crown Prince; and HE Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.

The visit marks a significant moment for cultural diplomacy and the strengthening of bilateral relations, with the Grand Egyptian Museum serving as a symbol of Egypt's rich history and heritage.
