HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Appoints New Directors at Ministry of Labour

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (38) of 2026, appointing new directors at the Ministry of Labour. This decision follows a proposal by the Minister of Labour and marks a significant administrative reshuffle within the ministry.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict details several key appointments. Heba Saeed Saleh Al Banaa has been named the Director of Compensations and Unemployment Support, taking over from Fawzia Saleh Al Shehab. In another appointment, Hala Mohammed Salman Al Malki will lead the Labour Relations Directorate, replacing May Hassan Al Asmi.

The edict further appoints Ahmed Jameel Yousef Al Saffar as the Director of the Employment Directorate, succeeding Hussain Ali Al Shami. Additionally, Abdullah Yousef Abdullah Al Ammari has been selected to head the Manpower Development Directorate, following Essam Ismail Al Alawi.

The Minister of Labour is tasked with implementing the provisions of this edict. The decision is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette, as stipulated in the edict.
