Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (61) of 2025, appointing new directors at the Education and Training Quality Authority. The appointments were made following a proposal from the Authority's Board of Directors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict outlines several key appointments within the Authority. Dr. Shaikha Lubna bint Ali bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has been appointed as the Director of the Directorate of Higher Education and Vocational Training Performance Review. Naila Mohammed Thamer Al Kaabi will now serve as the Director of the School and Kindergarten Performance Review Directorate, taking over from Ameera Mohammed Hassan Al Balushi. Additionally, Najma Sultana Abdulhamid Ahmed Ghuloom has been appointed as the Director of the Planning and Projects Directorate, while Dr. Thajba Ibrahim Rashid Al Jowder will assume the role of Director of the Directorate of Information Technology.
The edict mandates the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Quality Authority to implement its provisions, which are effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
