Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (35) of 2026, which introduces amendments to certain provisions of Edict (1) of 2018 concerning the reconstitution of the Civil Service Council.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the new edict adds a clause to the first paragraph of Article (1) of the 2018 edict. The amendment introduces the position of Minister of the Prime Minister's Court as a member of the Civil Service Council. The existing items in the paragraph will be renumbered accordingly to accommodate this addition.
The edict is set to take effect immediately from the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette for public dissemination.
