Board Chairperson of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), Eng. Meriam Ahmed Juma’an, extended most sincere congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on being selected to be at the forefront of the list published by the Contemporary and Historical Women Leadership Initiative that was announced by the delegation of the European Union to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of Gabon, on the occasion of UNESCO’s launch of the International Day of Women in Multilateralism.
The TRA Board Chairperson expressed great pride and appreciation for the big role played by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa in supporting Bahraini women, stressing that the achievement is an additional civilisational accomplishment for the Kingdom of Bahrain. She also described the achievement as an assertion of the leading role of HRH Princess Sabeeka in women empowerment to boost their contributions as a principal partner in the comprehensive development march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
