This agreement, recently extended to include the United Kingdom, exemplifies the collaborative efforts of Bahrain and the United States in fostering peace and prosperity in the Middle East. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed Bahrain's support for regional and international peace and stability efforts, commending the United States and its allies for their pivotal role in maintaining security. He expressed pride in the progress of Bahraini-U.S. relations and stressed the importance of building on existing agreements to enhance cooperation further. The meeting also reviewed potential avenues for strengthening military and defense cooperation, with discussions on mutual interests and recent regional and international developments.
