Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting with His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and members of the Supreme Organising Committee and the Executive Committee of the 3rd Asian Youth Games at Gudaibiya Palace. The gathering highlighted the successful efforts in organizing the event.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasized the significance of enhancing Bahrain's reputation as a venue for major regional and international events. This success is attributed to the nation's advanced infrastructure, skilled workforce, and robust organizational capabilities, aligning with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Prince Salman praised the achievements in Bahrain's sports sector and the dedication of the Supreme Organising Committee, the Executive Committee, volunteers, and organizers, which were crucial for the successful hosting of the Games. He also congratulated the Bahraini athletes for their medal-winning performances.
HRH outlined that the success of the Games should serve as a benchmark for the Kingdom to host larger events in the future, promoting cooperation between sports associations and government entities.
