HRH Crown Prince Chairs Cabinet Meeting, Highlights National Celebrations and Key Initiatives

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting at Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the Kingdom's National Days celebrations and the 26th anniversary of his Accession to the Throne. The Cabinet also expressed well wishes to the citizens and residents of Bahrain, hoping for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness conveyed King Hamad's gratitude to the organizers, participants, and sponsors of the Celebrate Bahrain Events. He emphasized the importance of these celebrations in fostering national patriotism, social cohesion, and preserving Bahrain's customs and traditions. The Cabinet also acknowledged the sacrifices of fallen servicemen, affirming support for their families through the Royal Fund for Fallen Servicemen.

The meeting marked Bahrain Police Day, commending the police force and Ministry of Interior personnel for maintaining security and public safety across the Kingdom. The Cabinet expressed appreciation for former Minister of Labour Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan's service and extended best wishes to HE Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, newly appointed as Minister of Labour and Minister of Legal Affairs.

The Cabinet affirmed the success of the 8th Bahrain Animal and Agriculture Production Show (Mara'ee 2025), highlighting its role in enhancing food security, wildlife preservation, and agricultural and livestock production. Additionally, the Cabinet congratulated Prime Minister's Fellowship Program graduates on its 10th anniversary, acknowledging the initiative's achievements.

The Cabinet expressed gratitude to government agencies for the accreditation of Bahrain's four governorates as "Healthy Governorates" by the World Health Organization and stressed the importance of advancing the health system according to international standards.

Several resolutions were approved, including one regulating remote litigation procedures, mechanisms for immediate execution of cheques with insufficient funds, and exemptions for electronic record-keeping by institutions, companies, and banks. The government's response to proposals from the Council of Representatives was also approved.

The Cabinet reviewed updates on the Ministry of Education's priorities within the Government Program (2023-2026) and noted several ministerial reports on Bahrain's participation in international forums and hosting upcoming global events.
