Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today exchanged congratulatory cables with Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in celebration of Bahraini Women's Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Princess Sabeeka commended the achievements of Bahraini women under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, underscoring the supportive role of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She highlighted how these accomplishments have bolstered the role of women in Bahrain's comprehensive development, making them integral partners in shaping the nation's future.
Princess Sabeeka noted that women in Bahrain have been afforded promising opportunities within an environment that guarantees equal access to advancement and leadership roles across various sectors. She emphasized the strong support for the national female workforce, which has enhanced their roles in the Kingdom's productive and service sectors, attributing this progress to the efforts of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HRH the Crown Prince also sent a cable of congratulations to Princess Sabeeka, extending his appreciation for her efforts and those of the SCW in elevating the status of Bahraini women. He recognized their empowerment as a key factor in achieving further successes within Bahrain's development, which is led by His Majesty the King.
