Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, expressed his pride in the commendation from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa regarding the government's efforts during Ashura. His Majesty praised the government's provision of necessary preparations and facilities, which is seen as a source of pride for all government entities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness highlighted that the success of the organizational efforts during Ashura was due to the collective efforts and close coordination of various government entities, with the Ministry of Interior being at the forefront. He commended the diligent work of all government entities within their respective mandates, emphasizing the security and community services provided throughout the occasion.
His Royal Highness also acknowledged the efforts of relevant institutions and entities, particularly the Ministry of Interior, the Islamic Endowments Affairs Council, religious scholars, Maatam leaders, supervisory committees, and volunteer field teams. He expressed appreciation for the awareness and responsibility demonstrated by all during Ashura and praised the meticulous organization and smooth implementation witnessed this year.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted that this year's Ashura was characterized by high levels of discipline and organization, highlighting Bahrain's openness as an inclusive society where peace and coexistence thrive. He asserted that cooperation and coexistence have become essential to achieving the common good.
Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed that, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, Bahrain will continue to serve as a humanitarian reference point in practicing religious freedoms and respecting diversity. He emphasized that Bahrain remains a center upholding the values of Islam and its noble principles.
His Royal Highness concluded by stating that Bahrain will continue to be an oasis of security and stability, a beacon of peace, and a homeland of coexistence, tolerance, and security for all its citizens and residents.
