HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Orders Development of 40 Mosques Across Kingdom

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has initiated a directive for the inauguration, restoration, and development of 40 mosques under the Sunni and Ja'fari Endowments. This initiative spans various governorates within the Kingdom, and forms part of a broader development plan for religious sites.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad has commanded the allocation of the required budget to facilitate this development plan. Emphasis will be placed on incorporating both modern and traditional Islamic architectural designs in the rebuilding and enhancement projects for the mosques.

Further directives were issued by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad to the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs. The ministry, in collaboration with relevant authorities, is tasked with identifying suitable sites and accelerating the processes of design, construction, restoration, and refurbishment for the mosques.
