HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Embarks on Official Visit to Qatar


Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, today departed the Kingdom of Bahrain for an official visit to the State of Qatar. The visit is set to include a meeting with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries and pursue shared goals.



According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness is accompanied by a delegation of prominent officials. This delegation includes HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior. Other notable members of the delegation are HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and HE Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainain, Minister of Shura Council and Representatives Council Affairs.



The visit also sees the participation of HE Dr Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, and HE Eng. Ebrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works. The delegation is further strengthened by the presence of HE Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf, HE Dr Ramzan bin Abdullah Al-Noaimi, Minister of Information, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Court of the Crown Prince.



Furthermore, HE Isa bin Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Advisor for Communication Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, HE Mohamed bin Ali Al Ghatam, Ambassador of Bahrain to Qatar, and several other senior officials are part of the delegation. Upon departure, His Royal Highness was bid farewell by several senior officials, marking a significant event in the ongoing diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Qatar.
